Your Guide to Telluride Festival Season

Ouray is just around the corner from Telluride (well, just over Imogene Pass if you're a Jeeper!), and staying at AlpLily is an easy way to save a few bucks on lodging. Stay with us and have more dollars for souvenirs and adventures!

There are tons of festivals and events all summer long - so many that it can be hard to choose. We're breaking down the biggest events of the year to help you decide:

Telluride Bluegrass Festival: The granddaddy of all festivals in Telluride is the annual bluegrass festival. Escape the crowds by staying in Ouray and driving into town - just make sure to park at the top of the gondola in Mountain View to save yourself the headache of downtown Telluride parking. This world-class festival is a Telluride icon has music from 10 am to midnight, so pack your sunscreen, comfy shoes, and plenty of water! Learn more >>

Telluride Yoga Festival and Telluride Wine Festival: Why choose between yoga and wine when you can have both? The last weekend in June is a double-header in Telluride! If you're feeling less evolved for wanting more wine then yoga, rest assured it's for a good cause. The Telluride WIne Festival operates a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit that supports regional farmers, culinary & hospitality businesses and education organizations. If namaste is more your speed, there isn't a more scenic setting than Telluride for your morning vinyasa. Find out more about the Yoga Festival >>

Hardrock 100 Ultra Marathon: Endurance athletes from around the world flock to Telluride and our neighbor to the south, Silverton, for a 100-mile race through the beautiful, but rugged, San Juan Mountains. Whether you're spectating, volunteering, or crazy enough to run the thing, we're the closest Ouray lodging to the race and just under an hour away. Start your race weekend at AlpLily, or nurse yourself back to normalcy in our hot tub in the days following! See Hardrock >>

We can't wait to see you for all your summer adventures, whether they include sipping wine or running 100 miles through the mountains (and everything in between). Summer is quickly filling up in Ouray - don't wait to book! Make your reservations now >>
